Recovery Resources

During this time of social distancing, we are working hard to keep you in the loop of all meetings that are meeting virtually.  While some meetings have been canceled, you can find a list of currently available Zoom meetings below. Please check in on each other and take part in some of these meetings to keep our community strong and connected!

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements.

Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.  Click below for meeting lists and a useful website - the first document is meetings around the La Crosse Area and the second is outside of the La Crosse Area.

Al-Anon

Al-Anon’s purpose is to help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the drinking problem of a relative or friend.

Our program of recovery is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of Service.  The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Al-Anon/Alateen is not affiliated with any other organization or outside entity.

Alateen is our recovery program for young people based on the same practices as Al-Anon. Alateen groups are sponsored by Al-Anon members with conversation to facilitate understanding and healing at an early age.

Narcotics Anonymous

There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using.

Narcotics Anonymous is a non-profit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean by sharing our experiences. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs.

Nar-Anon

The Nar-Anon Family Group is primarily for those who know or have known a feeling of desperation concerning the addiction problem of someone very near to you. Nar-Anon members have seen the struggles of their loved ones and now seek a brighter future.
